Brian Barela

Director of Strategy

Brian develops and leads the strategy, implementation and execution of programs that span a broad scope of marketing and technology for our clients. This includes buyer persona development, brand messaging, conversion funnel analysis, and content development.

Kyle Redmond Teese

Account Manager

Kyle is an Account Manager at Honeycomb and will likely be your main point of contact as a client. He's a newlywed, so be sure to say congratulations! When he's not hanging out with his wife, Kayla, he's drumming for indie folk rockers Before the Brave, getting into a game of pickup basketball, or eating tacos. Lots and lots of tacos. Kyle currently resides in the Sunset district of San Francisco, where fog is life.

Houston Barnett-Gearhart

SEO Director

Houston is the SEO Director for Honeycomb and oversees all search engine optimization strategies. Since Houston was 16 years old he's been optimizing websites and helps Honeycomb clients stay ahead of the SEO curve. Houston is also a new dad, so make sure to say congratulations!

C.J. Bergmen

Inbound Consultant

C.J. is an inbound consultant at Honeycomb, and his role is to find businesses who needs our help. C.J. has played many roles inside of Honeycomb, from managing inbound campaigns to leading strategy calls to writing content. When not at Honeycomb, C.J. is planting Citizens Church and playing for the band Clark around San Francisco.

Michael Transon


Michael is the CEO of Honeycomb and his role is to lead the vision and growth of our agency. He also works alongside C.J. during the consulting process with new clients. Michael lives with his cat Tux and spends his free time rock climbing and playing in the band Clark.

Dan Birch

Inbound Consultant

Dan is an Inbound Consultant with Honeycomb and he has particular expertise in SEO strategy. He enjoys kayaking and exploring San Francisco with his wife. He lives in the Inner Sunset Neighborhood.
